38 virgins killed in bus crash on their way to King of Swaziland's wife choosing ceremony
The accident happened on Friday night when their open truck smashed into a car on the road between the tiny kingdom's two main cities, Mbabane and Manzini, en route to the traditional Reed Dance.
"A total of 38 young girls have been pronounced dead, with more than 20 others seriously injured," Swaziland Solidarity Network spokesman Lucky Lukhele said.
The Swaziland Solidarity Network campaigns for democracy in the landlocked kingdom within South Africa.
"The girls were in an open truck which hit a sedan car stopped on the road," Mr Lukhele said.
The Reed Dance, due to be held on Monday, is a beauty pageant that attracts tens of thousands of young virgins who dance before the polygamist king, who can select one of them as a new wife.
Mswati, Africa's last absolute monarch, chose his 14th wife at the celebration in 2013.
King Mswati said the girls' deaths were a "tragedy in the nation".
"I would like to assure the parents who have lost their loved ones that the nation will support them through and through," the monarch, speaking on the sidelines of a trade fair in Manzini, said.
"Also those in hospitals, should the need arise for further treatment they will be taken to other hospitals to ensure no further loss of life."Police confirmed there had been "fatalities" but declined to specify the toll, with police spokesman Khulekani Mamba saying: "We won't be giving out any information because the maidens were on royal duty, so there are certain protocols to be followed before such information can be divulged to the public."
Local media gave varying tolls, with government newspaper The Observer reporting hundreds of injuries and the Swazi News saying seven people had been killed, six of them girls.
News of the accident has not been broadcast on public television and journalists were blocked from photographing the crash scene, a local journalist said.
Mswati III has ruled Swaziland as an absolute monarch since his father's death in 1982.

UNBELIEVABLE! Truth About Kiss Daniel Earnings
Speaking with a reliable source today, the source said;
"Its so painful that with all the swag and all the talent Kiss Daniel has, you wont believe he's paid 50k per month by his management"
When asked the reason why it was like that, source said"That's the agreement between Kiss Daniel and the Management"
Personally Betterpikin Don't think the 50k is okay for Kiss Daniel's talent if the rumour has anything to write about. Analytically the Woju crooner is fast gaining grounds in the music industry which can be compare to Wizkid growth rate when he started with his first known single 'Holla at your boy'

Patigi Beach
Patigi Beach located along River Niger It is not your classic poster beach with silky soft sand and a palm-fringed backdrop; rather, its appeal lies in the drama of its landscape and activities that you can engage in while on the beach. Fishermen and fishing enthusiasts also love this place, as flathead, bream, whiting and many other popular species are just a bait away.
Calabar beach
This is one of the coolest sea shores in Nigeria. Located in Calabar – one of the most popular tourist cities in the country – the beach is a large, family-friendly area for a great day out either alone or with the kids (with plenty of meals on sale too), and those wanting to take a stroll along the stretch of footpath will also get the chance to enjoy a measure of serenity. The beach has plenty of parking for day-trippers and vendors that offer food and drink.
Asaba beach
Delta state has its fair share of beaches, but the Asaba beach is one of its best; thanks to the wonderful scenery. The setting is fascinating as you are surrounded by coconut and palm trees, creeks, rock formations and clean beach sand. It is the perfect place to relax on a picnic, go surfing, play volleyball, sun-bathe or enjoy a beautiful sunset at the beach while gorging on local grilled fish in the evening.
Finima Beach
Set in the small town of Finima in Bonny Island, Rivers State, this beach is surrounded by long stretches of beaches stemming from the Atlantic Ocean. There is all-day free parking that makes getting a decent spot without having to pay through the nose a viable option – if you arrive early enough. Once you don your swimming gear, it is a possible to spend an entire day in the area as there are plenty of activities to keep you busy. The beach is patronized by expatriates working in Nigeria NLNG plant and locals for picnic, relaxation and refreshment.
Beach
beach is an eye-catching sea coast which stretches to James Town on the Atlantic, in Akwa Ibom State. The place is perfect for recreational activities as there are facilities for water sports. However the growing number of visitors recorded at this time of the year puts a damper on its charm as a quiet getaway.

My Husband Passed Me Around Like A S*x-Toy!
I have been married for 9years and after much attempts to have a child of our own, 5years into the marriage we had a boy. It didn't come as easy as I have just put it; by the way I didn't state I married an man who had an identical twin and I am a (lady. That alone had come with loads of back and forth from the early preparation days of getting married to finally having a child. Some who have been in my shoes can relate better, I guess. Inter-cultural marriage isn't always one smooth ride.
My husband's twin was one man I always had high regard for, he was calm, ever willing to listen whenever my husband and the rest of the family came hard and blamed me for childlessness. Atimes I often wished I married him instead of my husband. That was how much effect he always had on me during those trying times.
All these while, my husband never had an issue with the closeness that existed between myself and his twin, infact he usually encourages him to come around and spend time with us; much to my delight considering he often gave comforting words whenever my husband chooses not to understand. There were days in which we just hung out and just enjoyed being happy. He makes some moves that I sometimes find offensive but my husband smiles and says he is my twin.
On this certain day, my husband went to work. I was home seeing a movie when my bro-in-law offered me wine he got on his way to our place, out of excitement I popped, had few shots while we giggled and laughed as usual. Few minutes later, I felt tipsy and tired, not too long I fell asleep. Waking up, I found myself in the bedroom naked, examined myself and realized there was a sexual intercourse. Sitting across me was my bro-in-law equally undressed smiling and said it was time for me to know the truth because he could no longer bear it and feels I deserve to know the truth. It was like the saddest and most disappointing moment in my life.
Before I could say a word, he told me all what happened. He told me it was his twin(my husband)'s idea to often switch places at nights. Apparently my husband had low sperm count according to his twin, as such could not father a child, that he often had s*x with me at night while I thought it was my husband. While he said all these, I started adding two plus two together and it became obvious he was saying the truth. My husband sometimes wear a red boxers to bed and when we wake up in the morning I will find a black boxers on the floor and red on him. A lot of things started running through my mind and it began to make sense.
I broke down and couldn't stand it. Called my mother on the phone and told her I was finished. I couldn't tell her what had happened and suicide became my next option. My husband had ruined me, he had made me worthless, life no longer means anything to me as I now see myself as a piece of shit.
Suicide was all I thought of, the two closest persons to me had passed me around like a used s*x-toy. I have left my husband's house and moved on with my son, whom I am not sure of whom the real father is. Trust nobody. Life is cruel. My story.

PHOTO: ‘I was raped by every member of the cult on the day of my initiation’-16yrs Old Female Cultists
In recent times, the police have beamed their searchlight on cult activities across the country. This has led to several raids that have yielded results in Lagos, Anambra and Rivers states, as cultists were rounded up in their hundreds. Among those arrested was a 16-year-old girl, Ifechukwu Atunanya, who claimed that she was forced to sleep with every male member of the cult during her initiation. Recovered from them were guns, matchet and several wraps of Indian hemp.
Ifechukwu was among 75 suspected cult members who were rounded up by Anambra State Police command on July 3, 2015. All the suspects were alleged to be members of the Supreme Vikings Confraternity and were all arrested in a bush in Awka during the initiation of new members.
According to the state Commissioner of Police, Hosea Karma, the police acted on an intelligence report that the cult members and their new entrants were in a bush performing some rituals. The raid was conducted by the Anti-Cultism Squad led by Dickson Osamuonyi.
Part of their ritual, he explained, includes sleeping with female intending members. He said they do that in order to secure their oath of secrecy. It was during the raid that 16-year-old Ifechukwu was arrested.
At the police station, Ifechukwu, a secondary school dropout and member, claimed that she had to travel to Anambra from Abuja just to witness the initiation of new members. "I joined them three months ago and during my initiation, I was forced to have s*x with every registered member of the cult present that night. I was given a sedative so as not to feel what they were doing. It was not easy, but I bore the pain," she said.
Her parents, who are from Anambra State, are still alive. However, Ifechukwu said that they were not aware of her secret cult . "I got to know about the cult activity through a friend. She assured me that all the connection that I needed in this life will be made if I joined the group. I am from a poor family and I wanted to be the light that will change the situation in my family.
"She never told me that I will be raped till the day of initiation. The day we were initiated, I was the only girl in their midst. Although, I have not started reaping the gains, I was determined to be a successful member. I was further convinced to stay because I discovered that they are more honourable than the others. I am sorry and would love to be given the opportunity to go back to school. I never knew that it is crime to be a member. I am sorry," Ifechukwu pleaded.
Another member, Ugochukwu , who also spoke with Saturday Sun, said that they are all undergraduates of various institutions in Anambra. "Apart from some of our national leaders, we are all students. I was into the cult while I was still in my first year. I had no choice but to join them because of the harassment in school. I discovered that most of the Engineering students in my school were members of different cult groups.
"Again, if you identify with a known cult in school, the lecturers will respect you. You don't have to buy handouts or offer bribe to get credit in a course. This was why I joined them," he said.
Ugochukwu insisted that they did not steal or harass innocent people. "The guns that were found with us were bought in case there was a clash in school. It is our leaders who are all graduates and working across the country that normally assist us to secure the arms. It is strictly for defence and one of the rules of our group is that you must read and pass your exams on merit."
On the issue of rape, Ugochukwu said it only happened with female members. A female intending member cannot undergo the rigorous process during the initiation. So, our leaders suggested that the best way to get them under oath is for every registered member to have s*x with her during initiation. She would be semi-conscious during the process so that she will not physically feel the pain. Ifechukwu's case was better because we were only 20 registered men present on her day of initiation. All of our female members were raped," he further said.
In Rivers, 201 arrested
Also in Rivers State, detectives attached to the Anti-Robbery and kidnapping squad arrested over 127 suspected cultists while the Anti-cultism section rounded up over 74 others base in Port Harcourt. The state Commissioner of Police, Chris who confirmed their arrest, explained that the command was embarrassed by the high wave of kidnapping and armed robbery incident in the state. "We launched Operation Keep Moving which was flagged off by Rivers State Governor, Barrister Nyesom Wike on July 2, 2015. The Operation Keep Moving is proving to be a success. We will not stop or be complacent, the march is on and we must deliver on our promise to make Rivers State peaceful, secure and safe. Investigation revealed that most of them were also notorious armed robber and kidnappers who had unleashed terror in the state in the past.
"We recovered several AK 47 rifles, locally made guns, locally made revolver pistols; several pump action and 12 motorcycles. Meanwhile, they have different cult groups known as Dey-Gbam, Dey-well, Iceland and Vikings. The suspects will be charged to court at the end of investigation," CP said.
In Lagos, 38 were arrested
In Lagos, policemen attached to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) arrested 38 suspects who were alleged to be members of cult groups in Somolu area of the state. The team had responded to distress calls from concerned citizens about criminal activities and other unlawful engagements in the area. According to the tip-off, the suspected cult members had announced that they were going to initiate new members of public who were interested. The team of RRS operatives, headed by Supol , immediately moved to scene. Those arrested were 29 male and nine females. They were immediately conveyed to the squad's headquarters in Alausa, for further interrogation.
Following police's investigation, the suspects were said to among cultists and social miscreants disturbing the area. "The suspects are terrorizing law abiding citizens in the area while some of them are specialists in bag and handsets , pick-pocketing and such other activities both in the and day and at night.

How 4 Guys Abducted & Gang-Raped 16-Year-Old Virgin In Lagos
The suspects identified as Sunday Simeon, 18, from Akwa Ibom state; Adebayo Omoniyi 18, from Ondo state; Nnaemeka Uzodinma 24, from Imo state and Seyi (surname unknown) who is currently on the run attacked, abducted and gang raped the victim who is a JSS 3 student on June 23, 2015.
Vanguard learnt that the suspects attacked the victim after one of the suspects; Adebayo took the victim's phone around Arikeuyo junction while returning from school at Orile.
It was gathered that while the victim was struggling with Adebayo, his partners-in-crime dragged her into a tricycle and rode her to no 15 Unity Close in Orile Iganmu.
When they got there they took off her school uniform and raped her one after the other starting from Adebayo.
Vanguard gathered that after successfully raping the victim, one of the suspects Adebayo suggested to the other gang members that they kill the victim and throw her corpse into the canal so that she won't expose them.
But another member of the gang, Seyi pleaded with them to be cautious with Adebayo's advice, instead advice his colleagues to threaten the victim rather than kill her.
Hearkening to Seyi's advice the suspects threatened to kill her with a cutlass if she ever mentioned to anyone what they did to her or that they gang raped her.
Later they collected her phone number and rode her back to Alako area in Orile while Sunday gave her N100 to board a commercial vehicle home.
According to a source close to the family who spoke to Vanguard on the condition of anonymity said: "when the victim came back from school it was obvious that something was wrong as she was walking with difficulty, her uniform torn, she was bleeding because she sustained severe bruises all over her vagina".
"Her parents who saw her torn uniform and noticed the way she walked asked what had happened to her and she told them how she was attacked by four men who raped her on her way back from school.
Immediately her father took her to Orile Divisional Police station to report the incidence.
Fortunately while she was at the station with her father the suspects kept calling and threatening to kill her if she told anyone what they did to her".
Meanwhile the victim was taken to Ifelodun Ajeromi Government Hospital where she received treatment after a series of test were carried out on her which confirmed that he has been sexually abused.
Vanguard learnt that the police advised her to lure the suspects who were calling and threatening her by telling them that she was coming to see them again after school the next day. Unknown to them that it was a trap and that her parents had notified the police, they bought the idea.
At the agreed time she went there with the detectives who succeeded in arresting one of the suspect's Nnaemeka Uzodinma, his arrest eventually led to the arrest of two others.
It was gathered that the victim's blood stained pant and the cutlass which was used to threaten her have been recovered from the suspects one-room apartment in Orile.
The suspects who are currently being investigated at the State Criminal Investigation Department, yaba, Panti would soon be arraigned in court.

Ladies Beware!!! Drugs Taken For Painful Periods Could Cause Infertility – Research Says
Women have been cautioned against taking drugs for painful periods and back pain as it could cause infertility.
A new study revealed that drugs such asnaproxen, diclofenac, ibuprofenandaspirinwhich are largely used for the treatment of pain, inflammation, painful periods and fever can reduce a woman's fertility.
The researchers analyzed the effects of the 3NSAIDs(Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) on fertility.
As part of the study, painkiller study investigator,Prof. Sami Salman,of the University of Baghdad, Iraq recruited 39 women of childbearing age who suffer from back pain to take part in the study.
The women receiveddiclofenac(100mg once daily),naproxen(500mg twice daily) andetoricoxib(90mg once daily) or aplacebo.
The drugs were given 10 days after the beginning of their menstrual cycle, the first day of a woman's period.
Researchers tested whether the women had ovulated by analyzing the level of the hormone progesterone, via a blood sample. They also measured the diameter of the dominant follicle, a fluid-filled cavity in the ovaries that contains one undeveloped egg, using ultrasonography,a form of ultrasound.
The team found that of the women receivingNSAIDs, only 6.3% of those takingdiclofenacovulated, and only 25% of women takingnaproxenand 27.3% takingetoricoxibovulated.
This was compared with 100% of women in the control group, who were not taking medication.
Based on the findingsSalman said:
"After just 10 days of treatment we saw a significant decrease in progesterone, a hormone essential for ovulation, across all treatment groups, as well as functional cysts in one third of patients. These findings show that even short-term use of these popular, over-the-counter drugs could have a significant impact on a women's ability to have children."
Also doctors said the risk of reduced fertility associated with the drugs, must be communicated to women regularly taking the medication.

GOODNEWS: P’Harcourt refinery to commence operations in July – NNPC
It also assured that on or before the end of this week, the scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit, otherwise known as petrol, will cease across the country.
The Group Managing Director, NNPC, Dr. Joseph Dawha, disclosed this in Abuja on Thursday after inspecting some petrol stations in the city.
He said, "Presently, the refineries are undergoing rehabilitation and we are undertaking what we call a new strategy to carry out the turn around maintenance on them. Basically, what this means is that we are carrying out phased implementation of rehabilitation of the refineries.
"We are taking the refineries unit by unit and carrying out turnaround maintenance on them. So in other words, the maintenance are being carried out on the run and we started a couple of months ago.
"Most of the refineries have advanced to a certain stage where they will be able to operate very soon. For example, the Port Harcourt refinery, which has reached an advanced stage, will start receiving crude by end of this month and then of course will start contributing to the available products in the country."
NNPC has four refineries, two in Port Harcourt, and one each in Kaduna and Warri. The refineries have a combined installed capacity of 445,000 barrels per day. A comprehensive network of pipelines and depots strategically located throughout Nigeria link these refineries.
Dawha said the maintenance exercise on the refineries were spontaneously taking place in all the facilities.
He said, "At the end of the target 18 months, most of the refineries would have been rehabilitated to such level where they can actually process crude optimally to make contributions to the availability of products in the country.
"I've heard some people say we have neglected the refineries, no, farther from that. We hope that at the end of the exercise, these refineries will be fully back into operation and we will minimise some of the problems we have with importation."
He explained that why the refineries were not running was a conscious decision, adding that "we decided that if the refineries were not in good state to process crude for maximum gain, then there was no point sending crude to the refineries.
"Therefore what you do is to try and fix it so that by the time you start processing the crude, you will get real value for the crude you are sending to the refineries. We are satisfied with the level of work that has been carried out so far in the Port Harcourt refinery, so that if you start processing crude now you will get real value."
The Managing Director, Pipelines Product Marketing Company, Mr. Haruna Momoh, stated that the NNPC imports 50 per cent of petroleum products into the country.
He noted that when the ongoing rehabilitation and turn around maintenance of the Port Harcourt refinery is completed in July, 2015, the plant would run at 80 per cent installed capacity and produce five million litres of petrol on a daily basis.
Meanwhile, Dawha called on marketers to start importing PMS, stressing that the distribution challenge of PMS was largely due to the non-involvement of marketers, a development which resulted in the scarcity nationwide.
The NNPC GMD said as of Thursday, the PPMC had a stock level of 1.1 billion litres, representing 27 days sufficiency, and noted that the stock excludes volumes with confirmed delivery dates within the next couple of days.
"In the last five days, we have brought into Abuja 428 trucks of Premium Motor Spirit, averaging 85 trucks daily, to address the petrol requirement in Abuja and its immediate environs," Dawha added.

Barcelona beat Juventus 3-1 to lift fifth Champions League title
The $110-million recruit from Liverpool scored Barcelona's second in the 68th minute after Lionel Messi's shot was palmed away by goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.
Neymar had a goal disallowed for handball but, with the final going into a seventh minute of stoppage time, the Brazil striker found time to score again. This time it counted.
Ivan Rakitic had sent Barcelona into a fourth-minute lead, but the Spanish champions failed to build on their early dominance before Juventus leveled 10 minutes into the second half through Alvaro Morata.
Juventus, though, couldn't prevent Barcelona from collecting the European Cup for the fifth time as the formidable Messi-Neymar-Suarez front three took their goal tally to 122 this season.
The triumph comes after four years without success in European competition and ensures both coach Luis Enrique and Suarez end their first season with the club with a treble.
Juventus initially looked like it could cause an upset against the most dominant team in Europe in the modern era. Assertive from kick off, Juventus made Barcelona look anxious initially. It didn't last long — just four minutes, in fact.
In a move that involved all 10 outfield players touching the ball, starting with Jordi Alba's throw in, Barcelona took the lead.
So often the provider of goals, Messi delivered a precise cross-field pass in the goalward advance. It landed at the feet of Jordi Alba, who played in Neymar and the ball was then slipped through to Andres Iniesta.
With a flick, Iniesta squared for Rakitic to power into the net from close range past Buffon.
The expectation was that Barcelona would take a stranglehold on the final.
Had it not been for Buffon's stretching save at the start of the second half to deny Suarez, Juventus would have been two behind. Messi, for once, also couldn't find the target after a one-two with Suarez.
It proved costly. A back-heel from Claudio Marchisio began the move that led to Juve's equalizer.
An initial shot from Carlos Tevez was parried by Marc-Andre ter Stegen. But Morata, who scored in both legs of the semifinal against former club Real Madrid, sent the follow-up into the net with ease.
Juve didn't use the opportunity to swing the final in their favor, and Barca were back in front 13 minutes later after launching an electrifying counterattack
Within five minutes of Suarez's goal, Barca were celebrating again — but the joy was short-lived. Neymar was spotted to have headed the ball onto his arm before it went past Buffon.
But Neymar did have the final say in this final with the late goal.

I’ll never help people again ─ Suspect
Utubor, an indigene of Igueben, Edo State, was arrested in the Baruwa Estate, Ipaja area of Lagos State, on Saturday after taking the victim home on Friday.
PUNCHMetrohad reported that the suspect had taken the deceased home after she asked him for financial help.
A police source had told our correspondent that the duo was making love, when the victim died.
A neighbor was said to have alerted the police and Utubor was subsequently arrested.
Utubor, who had been transferred to the State Department of Criminal Investigation, Yaba, denied having intercourse with the victim.
He said, "I was at School bus stop, Abesan Estate, around 10.30pm when the woman, who was about 40 years old, asked me for financial help. She asked for N200.
"I told her I had only N50 on me. She knelt down begging me to assist her, and saying she would follow me to wherever I was going, just to collect the money.
"At that point, I agreed to assist her with the N200 she wanted. She followed me to my house, which was not far from the bus stop. When I got home, I opened the door, while she stood outside.
"Just as I was about to enter, she complained of a headache. Before I came out from the room with the N200, she had slumped and I immediately called my younger brother and neighbors to assist me. Before I knew it, she was dead."
Utubor said he regretted taking the victim to his apartment, adding that he did it in good faith because he had a "giving spirit."
The Ordinary National Diploma graduate of Public Administration swore that if he got out of the trouble, he would never render assistance to people again.
He said, "I just rented a room and parlour apartment on David Ogunsanya Street because I will be getting married in December this year. I did my traditional wedding during the Easter celebration.
"I did not have sex with her. I did not even give her water or food. If God gets me out of this, I will not help people again in my life."
He said when he picked the victim from the road, she did not have any means of identification on her and that she only wore her clothes and a pair of slippers.
Utubor, who is the eldest in a family of five children, said he did not bother to ask for her name because he had no ulterior motive.
"She had no phone, handbag or anything to indicate her identity except a rapper and the dress she had on her. What I just noticed was that immediately she slumped, she was foaming in the mouth.
"I did not take her home to sleep with her. That was why I did not bother to ask for her name or where she was coming from or going to," he added.
A police source, however, said when Utubor was arrested, he was half naked.

My parents are using my destiny to get wealth –varsity undergraduate
Demilade spoke with our correspondent in hiding, maintaining that he would never return home to his father, Mr. Fatayi Osholonge, a lawyer and his mother, Olufunke, who is an evangelist.
Soft-spoken, with a mien that gave a hint of the affluent home he came from (a fact he confirmed), Demilade went into a narration that sounded much like a story out of a novel.
He told our correspondent, "It started when I was 10 years old and I started to see a young boy with blood coming out of his mouth.
"Sometimes, I saw the boy in a dream, sometimes I saw him even when I was wide awake but I was always the only one seeing him. I told my parents about it but they waved it off as mere dreams.
"It continued till I was 17 and I started to bleed from the mouth as well. The first time it happened, I just noticed blood coming out of my mouth. I would wake up sometimes and blood would be coming out of my mouth. Sometimes, I would be wide awake and notice the taste of blood in my mouth."
Asked what step his parents took when he told them, he alleged that they did not take him to the hospital for a checkup even after seeing the blood.
In the family home at Ajah area of Lagos, Demilade alleged that he frequently experienced spiritual attacks. He was asked to elaborate.
"Sometimes, I feel someone beating me while I sleep without actually seeing the person. Sometimes, I would lie in bed and not be able to move my body at all no matter how hard I try," he said.
He told our correspondent that he became so frustrated with the strange experiences and the fact that he never got help.
"As the years went on, I started noticing that my parents were engaging in occultism activities because they visit herbalists and strange prophets," he alleged. When asked what evidence he had of such activities, Demilade said they sometimes took him along.
Demilade also alleged that in 2014, his parents took him to twoIfapriests in Ondo town in Ondo State, during which incisions were made on his waist. He lifted his shirt and showed the incisions on the left side of his waist.
He toldSaturday PUNCHthat the bleeding from the mouth continued despite the visit to the priests.
Our correspondent asked whether Demilade's other siblings in the house also experienced anything similar to the claims he made in his allegation and he explained that when he discussed it with his younger sisters, they told him none of them experienced such things.
How then did he arrive at the conclusion that his parents were behind his "spiritual attacks?" Demilade alleged that his suspicion became clearer to him when he ran away from home.
He said, "I was a 200 level Mass Communication undergraduate at the Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, but I decided to drop out so that I could be out of reach of my parents.
"After I fled from home, I told my step-brother (Michael Ebun), who is my mother's son from a previousmarriage, about my problem and he took me to the house of a prophetess, Mrs. Mercy Oyebo. As soon as we got to the woman's house, she prayed for me and I vomited blood.
"I got deliverance and gave my life to Christ right away. Since that day, I have not vomited blood. I have been a good Christian since then.
"I stayed along with my step-brother in the woman's house between March and April 2015 for intense prayer sessions. We left after the sessions and I have been living with a friend at Maryland since then.
"But I realized my parents were behind my problems when my mother started calling and cursing me over the phone. She said she would make me run mad. There was a time she was reciting incantation when she called me and I froze."
Demilade declined to disclose his current home address.
"My parents are rich, they are using my destiny, that is why they want me back home desperately," he alleged.
He said life is hard for him currently because he no longer enjoyed the affluence of his parents but maintained that he would rather suffer physically than be turned into an imbecile.
Asked about the motive behind bringing his story to the public, Demilade alleged that his parents got his step-brother (Ebun) arrested on charges of kidnapping.
"They locked him up for three days for kidnapping me. He only tried to help me. I have even spoken with the police on the phone that I was not kidnapped, but they insisted that I should come over to Panti (Department of Criminal
Investigation, Yaba), where the case has been transferred to. If I went there, they would hand me over to my parents," he said.
Saturday PUNCHlearnt that Ebun has since been released on bail.
But issues took a different dimension when our correspondent contacted Demilade's parents. They maintained they could only speak in the presence of investigators at the DCI.
During the encounter at the DCI, Mrs. Osholonge said she believed her son was still holed up in the prophetess' house and that she had hypnotized him to the point that he was not thinking straight.
Demilade's mother gave an off-the-record detailed narration of what she believed was the reason behind his son's strange behavior, but she insisted she did not want this information published.
When asked how she would respond to the allegations of occultism, spiritual attack, visits to the herbalists, incantations and curses made by her son, she said all she wanted was to have her son back.
Our correspondent learnt that indeed there was an open case of conspiracy and kidnapping on Demilade's issue, which the prophetess (Oyebo) is still wanted for.
A police officer who is familiar with the investigation said, "We have spoken with this woman (Oyebo) on the phone. All we need is for her to come and give her side of the story. But all she did was send me a nasty insult by SMS. If she did nothing wrong, why is she in hiding?" He showed our correspondent the SMS.
The officer also said the police need Demilade to come forward to prove that he was indeed not kidnapped.
But Oyebo has said the officer was the one who first spoke rudely to him after she called him to explain her side of the story.
When our correspondent spoke with Oyebo, she alleged that she had made several attempts to see Demilade's mother but that she had refused to show up. But Demilade's mother said Oyebo is the one who had been avoiding her.
The prophetess said, "Did the boy sound like someone who was hypnotized when you spoke with him? I told the boy to go to the office of the police public relations office to present himself and he did.
"I wanted to have a talk with the mother because the steps the boy was taking were not good for the family. I wanted the matter resolved. I did not want him to live like a homeless child. But she refused to show up.
"The boy said there were so many things he knew about his parents which was why they wanted him back so he does not spill the secrets. If the boy said going to his parents would mean the end for him, would I be the one to drag him to them?
"I swear to God almighty the boy is not under my roof. I realize that if the boy is handled with care, he might just travel out of the country if he finds the means.
"I have reported this case at the National Human Rights Commission in Lagos. I have been advised to write a petition to the assistant inspector-general of police, Zone 2, Onikan Lagos and send a copy to the Lagos State commissioner of police. After I have filed the petition, I will show up and we will tell Demilade to come and tell the police if I kidnapped him or not."

US behind Kashamu’s house arrest—FG
Adoke told one of our correspondents on the telephone on Saturday that the request came last week.
On May 6, the minister had disclosed to one of our correspondents that there was no extradition request for Buruji by the US.
Adoke said this while responding to a suit filed by Kashamu to restrain the NDLEA and 13 others from extraditing him to the US.
"The request came shortly after I spoke with you. It came last week," he said.
He said immediately his office received the request it was passed to the appropriate organ of government for implementation.
The implementation process involves filing an extradition request before the appropriate division of the Federal High Court.
Responding to further inquiry, he confirmed that he was referring to the NDLEA as the appropriate organ of government to take up the extradition request.
"Of course, it is a drug-related offence and the appropriate government agency that handles such cases is the NDLEA," Adoke said.
The NDLEA confirmed the confinement of the movement of Kashamu to his Lagos residence on Oladipo Street, Lekki Phase 1 pending his appearance in court on Monday (tomorrow).
The spokesperson for the NDLEA, Michael Ofoyeju, said the action was to perfect his extradition to the US for drug-related charges.
In a statement sent via email to one of our correspondents by the spokesperson for the agency, Michael Ofoyeju, the Chairman/Chief Executive of the NDLEA, Ahmadu Giade, was quoted as saying the operation was in line with the legal process of extradition.
The statement further quoted Giade thus, "The agency has commenced extradition procedures against Senator-elect, Buruji Kashamu in line with the laws of country. He has been in contact with his attorneys and will appear in court on Monday."
He also confirmed that the residence of Kashamu was raided by the operatives of the agency at about 5am on Saturday.
No fewer than 10 operatives of the agency were said to have invaded the Lagos residence of Kashamu, around 5am on Saturday to effect his arrest following a purported extradition request from the United States on drug- related charges.
They were said to be heavily armed and were ruthless.
As soon as they stormed his residence,SUNDAY PUNCH gathered that some of the NDLEA operatives brought out a yellow tape and cordoned off the area, while others went straight to the gate.
After they (operatives) reportedly knocked on Kashamu's gate, his security men were alerted about their mission.
Kashamu's security men at this point demanded the arrest warrant from the NDLEA men but they could not produce any.
Based on this, they were prevented from entering the residence.
However, this action was said to have infuriated the NDLEA officials who stormed the compound after destroying the gate.
The media aide to Kashamu, Austin Oniyokor, in a statement made available to our correspondent on Saturday, explained that the NDLEA operatives after they had forcibly entered the compound, headed for the living rooms and began to destroy all the doors one after other, in a desperate move to arrest Kashamu.
An NDLEA source said they (operatives) closed in on the bedroom of the PDP chief who was said to have threatened to commit suicide if the agency tried to extradite him to the US forcibly.
Oniyokor described the latest onslaught on his principal as a confirmation of the alleged plot to illegally abduct him despite the pending suit against his abduction.
Oniyokor, however, accused a Peoples Democratic Party leader, Chief Bode George, as being behind the onslaught against his boss, "in a bid to score cheap political points."
He said he is doing this through his wife who is the Director-General of the agency.
"We urge all well meaning Nigerians to prevail on NDLEA, Chief George and his wife to toe the path of the rule of law and follow due process.
"Nigeria is not a Banana republic. The United States being the bastion of democracy, the rule of law and due process, should not lend itself to this kind of illegality."
However, George, who spoke to one of our correspondents from the United Kingdom On Saturday, described the allegation as a 'huge joke.'
The PDP leader said he did not have the power to give his wife orders because she was not the chairman of the NDLEA and the agency adheres to due process.
He said no right thinking Nigerian would believe that he was behind Kashamu's ordeal because his name had never been mentioned before now. He added that he had never been involved in Ogun State politics before and wondered how Kashamu's detention could benefit him (George).
He said, "I don't understand what this is all about. How does Kashamu's arrest affect the price of milk? My wife is not the chairman of the NDLEA, so how can I give her orders when she has a boss? Also, that agency always follows due process.
"I am happy that the NDLEA has issued a statement to the effect that Kashamu's arrest has nothing to do with me or politics. I do not dabble into Ogun State politics.
"Kashamu is like a younger brother to me and he is not known to speak in such a manner. I am sure it is his media adviser that concocted this falsehood."

We have no money to import fuel — Marketers
There are indications that the current fuel scarcity may not abate unless the Federal Government pays the outstanding N200m reportedly being owed the oil marketers as subsidy claims.
The oil marketers, who confirmed to our correspondent that they had stopped importation, said they could not continue with fuel importation as result of inadequate funds.
They spoke through the Executive Secretary, Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria, Mr. Obafemi Olawore.
Olawore, along with the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, also denied the report that they were on strike.
He said they were still waiting for the Federal Government to call them to another round table on how to pay the N200bn fuel subsidy owed them.
Olawore said, "We are not on strike. People are just painting us the way they want. We are not importing because we don't have the money to buy the products. The government has not invited us. The only thing we have heard is the resolution of the Senate on Thursday and I think that they are going to invite us soon."
Out of N356.2bn subsidy the government reportedly owed oil marketers, the Ministry of Finance paid the sum of N156bn about two weeks ago.
With about five days to the handover of power to a new administration at the federal level, tanker drivers in the country have also stopped lifting fuel from the depots, leaving many filling stations without the product and others selling at exorbitant prices.
The General Secretary, NUPENG, Mr. Isaac Aberare, said tankers drivers would start lifting the product as soon as they received the directive to do so, insisting that they were not strike.
He said, "If there are products in the depots, we will go there and load. Remember that the Lagos State Government gave tankers drivers 48 hours to leave the road instead of clogging the whole road and making navigation difficult; we have complied with that instruction. Any time there are products, we will go and load."
In its response to the lingering fuel scarcity in the country, the Senate on Thursday directed its Committee on Petroleum Resources (upstream and downstream) to commence a full investigation into the causes of the persistent fuel crisis.
The directive was made following a motion by the Deputy Senate Majority Leader, Senator Abdul Ningi.
Ningi said, "We need to know whether fuel scarcity has come to stay. We need to know whether it has become part of our lives. We need to plan.
"By planning and talking about it, we are now sensitising Nigerians to brace for the impending issue of fuel scarcity whether it is going to be here permanently or it is temporary."
As a married woman, I still get advances from men –Faith Morey
My name is Faith Morey and I am an international model. I am from Ikwerre in Rivers State. I grew up in a religious family. My grandmother taught us family and religious values. I have three siblings, my biological father is deceased and my mum is a retired nurse. I am presently rounding off my Bachelor's degree programme in Human Resources at Lone Star College, Houston Texas, United States of America.
Modelling
I started modeling in 2008, after the Rivers State MVP basketball competition. I won the competition and while I was being interviewed, they called for a five-minute break. As I watched television back stage, I saw Naomi Campbell on the runway. Right there, I decided that was what I was supposed to do. I wanted to be like the woman I saw on television, who was bold and confident.
In 2009, I entered for the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant, but I never made it to the second batch. My life changed after Nigeria's Next Super Model competition in 2009.
Love and Marriage
I am grateful for my modeling career because it led me to my husband. You have to love someone to marry them and stay married. The love and bond between couples keep their marriage. My husband is supportive of my career.
Motherhood
Being a mother has changed my life in a tremendous way; I wouldn't imagine a life without my son. Being a mum taught me patience, unconditional love and how to be open to negotiation. I love every aspect of motherhood. Being a mother keeps me on my toes. You do not know what it is to be selfless until you have a child.
Competition
Competition among models in Nigeria and abroad is the same, but the only advantage is the good payment. The international industry is very developed and organized. In Texas, the perfect model is a white girl with blue eyes and there are only a few companies that hire black models. Black girls fight for a place in the international modeling industry.
Personality
I am outlandish. When people see me, they say I am pretty and perfect, and my close friends say I am a weird average girl. I could say I am shy when I walk into a room full of people. However, I am confident at the same time because I am not afraid to express myself. I am principled, old fashioned and family-oriented. I am a goal getter and very ambiguous.
Male distraction
When you are backstage, you barely have the time to check out male models; you would be busy trying to calm your nerves before you get on stage. I have a family to consider. I would not want to throw my family away for my guilty pleasures. Even as a married woman, I still get advances from men. It only reminds me that I am a beautiful, black and intelligent woman. I would check the mirror the day I stop having admirers.
Challenges
As a starter, I had to learn to be a lady. Nobody wanted to give a dress to a tomboy. My toned legs posed a challenge. Nigerians have their version of how a sexy leg should look, and a curved or toned leg wasn't it. I used to wear trousers to castings so they could pick me for my walk and not my legs. I came to the US and I realized the sexiest legs were the curved legs. Now, when I walk on the street, women approach me to ask who my trainer is. Also, as a six-foot model wearing a size 11 shoe, it was difficult to get my size. I used to keep my legs behind my seat, so people would not see my toes sticking out of my shoes. It was quite embarrassing.
Hobbies
I love to go to the movies with my husband, son and friends; take a good run to clear my head or play basketball with my brothers. My family comes first. And most of the time I travel with my son when I have out-of-state jobs or international shows. I try to juggle between family, career and school. Also, I have interests in acting and image consulting.
Beauty tips
Everyone is different, what works for you might not work for another person. My son is almost four years old and I never visited a gym until last year because my brother persuaded me to do so for health reasons. Some people have good genes; others have to work out to stay fit. I try to eat healthy, I fail some times and I do not go hard on myself. Next day, I try again. I still struggle each day to maintain a healthy diet and workout routine.
Style
People mistake style for brand. My style is a reflection of how I feel. Often times, I combine outfits from different designers and when I step out, people scream and ask where I got the outfits from. I like shorts, shirts and a pair of heels. I love shoes and I splurge on them when I shop.

Alfa runs mad, dies after drinking herbal mixture
The 24-year-old was said to have first acted strangely and behaved violently before dying on Saturday.
PUNCH Metrolearnt that a day to the incident, he had complained to his friend, Akintunde Akinwunmi, that he was ill.
Akinwunmi was said to have gone to a herb vendor around the area, who sold the herbal mixture to him.
It was learnt that shortly after taking the concoction, he started laughing hysterically.
He reportedly died soon after.
The matter was said to have been reported at the FESTAC Police Division.
It was later transferred to the Department of Criminal Investigation, Yaba.
Our correspondent learnt that the police had arrested Akinwunmi and the herb seller.
A police source said Taiye was resident in Ondo State and had come to Lagos on a visit when tragedy struck.
He said, "There are three friends involved in this case. The deceased lived in Ondo State, while the other two are living in Lagos.
"The two in Lagos travelled to Ondo to join Taiye for the naming ceremony of another friend, who was living in Idi-Iroko.
"All the three friends returned to Lagos on Thursday, last week.
"The following day, which was Friday, Taiye said he had a stomach upset and they went to get him some herbs to treat the ailment."
It was learnt that he was served a mixture ofjedi-jediand 'small leaf' which were soaked in alcohol.
Our correspondent learnt that after the victim took the drink, he started acting strangely.
A relative said his friends stated that he was laughing hysterically and talking out of senses.
He said, "He started by laughing at everything they were saying and they didn't understand what was happening.
"Later, he touched the private parts of one of them. When they tried to hold him, he ran out of the house."
In the process of running, it was gathered that Taiye fell and injured himself in the head.
He was said to have continued his flight, but was later found with the security men at the entrance into the estate. The men explained to his friends thatAlfahad lost his mind.
The security guards reportedly chainedAlfaand handed him over to his friends.
Our correspondent was told that he gave up the ghost early Saturday morning.
A source said, "Around 3am on Saturday, he died. People called his name, shook him, but he did not respond."
The herb seller, Bilikisu Ayilara, said she did not know anything about the death of the victim.
She said, "I have been selling herbs for a long time and I have never had problems.
"I don't know the man that died. His friend usually patronised me. He came that day and said his friend had a stomach upset.
"I gave himjedi-jediand small leaf and that was all. It was later I learnt the man who took it ran mad and died. I am innocent."
The victim's father, Olaiya, appealed to the police to release his son's corpse to him.
He said he was not ready to pursue a case against the suspects.
He said, "I don't think it was the herb that killed my son. Although he did not have any mental problem before coming to Lagos with his friends, he died because it was his fate.
"All I am interested in is for the police to release the corpse of my son to me and release the suspects."
The Police Public Relations Officer, Kenneth Nwosu, said he would call back, but he had yet to do so as of press time.

Truth About Making Love with Your Woman during Menstruation
In fact, some religions still adhere to these practices; however, medically and secularly speaking, there is no reason not to have s*x on your period.
In fact, s*x while you are menstruation can help ease the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome…
Many women say that orgasms can ease their cramps and the orgasmic contractions of the uterus offer a soothing internal massage. Also, orgasms release endorphins, natural painkillers and mood enhancers, which can help soothe the cramps, headaches, mild depression, and irritability sometimes associated with periods. Women should enjoy s*x more when they are menstruating because of increased feelings of fullness in the pelvic and genital areas, which offer a head start on arousal.
There is one caveat, though: Safe s*x is even more crucial during your period. Your risks of s*xually transmitted diseases and infections are higher than normal during this time because the cervix opens to allow blood to pass through.Unfortunately, this creates the perfect pathway for bacteria to travel deep inside the pelvic cavity. A woman is also more likely to pass on blood-borne diseases like HIV and hepatitis to a partner during your period and more likely to develop yeast or bacterial infections because the vagina's pH during menstruation is less acidic. Finally, there is still a chance that you could get pregnant during your period (unless you're on the pill), so don't assume it's safe to forgo contraception.
No muss, no fuss. If you are worried about staining your sheets, you can lay a towel down underneath you. You can also take things to the bathroom and have s*x in the shower or the bathtub. Not only will it be a sensuous and exciting change from the norm, but it will also help to wash any blood away.
You can even enjoy oral s*x during your period; it's perfectly safe and healthy — although, as I said above, it's very important to practice safer s*x techniques (like using a dental dam).
Maintain your s*x appeal. Sometimes when that time of the month rolls around, all you want to do is throw on your old sweats, lie on the couch, and gorge on feel-good snacks and ice cream. Unfortunately, foods such as these will only serve to make bloating and cramps worse, and lead to lethargy that will only add to your bad mood.
Instead, commit to maintaining your s*x appeal during your period. Some women claim that they feel s*xy and powerful during their periods, so tap into that side of you and go out for a night of fun. Getting active will help to keep your mind off your cramps, and your partner won't be able to resist your sensual moves.
So ladies, your period doesn't have to slow down your s*x life!
